For their health and wellbeing private hire drivers have donned masks and gloves. These essential workers whose names you don’t know, and faces you may not recognise, are now further concealed behind a layer of protective clothing.
We think these drivers deserve recognition, now, more than ever. For dropping medical staff to hospitals and clinics. For taxiing other key workers who need to get to and from work, or appoints. For working long hours, and being thanked less than they should.
So we made this video – filmed from a distance that was safe for all of us – to show one amazing private hire driver who is keeping the nation moving. And to say thank you, from us.
