Simplicity is the key to success. Less is more. There are many fake gurus who encourage you to be flashy, to consume media, to always say “yes”.

Being a minimalist has its benefits. Everyone can learn to be a minimalist. It will save you time and also make you more productive.

But… saying yes and owning things is stressful. Things require maintenance and they require your time and energy.

Saying yes means that you are no longer in control over your time.

Why did I become a Minimalist? Why would I purposely want less? Why would I torture myself with trying to live a minimalist lifestyle. Why not be like everyone else?

I became a minimalist because I was sick and tired of just being a mindless consumer. I was sick of fast fashion and always trying to stay trendy. I was sick of not living a life that I was not 100% happy with. I was sick of social media and how they made you feel like crap if you didn’t have the latest luxuries. I wanted to enjoy life. I wanted to live life how I want to and minimalism has enable me to do just that. It has given me the confidence to be who I am.
