Here is my definition of Minimalism. The word has grown a lot over the years, from an artistic technique of using sparseness to a lifestyle choice based on values. There are many terms similar to it including Intentional living, minimalist lifestyle, and frugal living. Each have their own definitions, and it can all get pretty confusing. I aim to clarify the definition of minimalism!

Money won’t buy you happiness, but it can buy you food and that’s basically the same thing.

This is the beginning of our MINIMALISM journey. I’ve researched and thought about doing this for a while and now is the time. I want to enjoy time with my kids and husband more and it seems the more stuff we have in the way, the less time we actually get to spend with each other. I don’t think this will be an easy process or a short one but I’m hoping over time we can get a new system going and spend quality time together to enjoy our watching our kids learn and grow.
