Minimalism was a trendy movement I stumbled upon when I was trying to figure out how to do less work around the house. I was tired of cleaning cluttered counter tops and cluttered rooms and floors and tired of spending hours trying to find something in the junk draw or closet that was surrounded by things I had no use for in the first place. I’m lazy and I like to figure out how to get what needs to get done the quickest way possible with the least amount of effort. Minimalism was the perfect way to describe the way I like to live life. Have things that serve a purpose, nothing more and nothing less so you have the option to do absolutely nothing for the rest of the day. What could be any better than spending less than an hour cleaning your house or spend 1 second to look for what you are searching for and then spend the rest of the day doing what you want? Nothing that I can think of. Side effects that usually come along with a minimalistic life style are financial gains and the ability to find your passion and pursue it to have a fulfilling life. I didn’t know laziness could be so beneficial.
