Why Old School is Best | The Long Covid Symptom Diary

In this video I speak to Vicky Van der Todt, who has just released the Long Covid Symptom Diary. I ask her what it is, who’s it for, and how it can help research teams get projects off the ground.

Vicky remains recovered from Long Covid, and personally I think it’s fantastic she’s still working on projects that are of huge benefit to the community.

I also strongly recommend taking part in the upcoming GM Forum on Long Covid and ME/CFS – an online conference running from the 17th-19th July.

If you’d like to watch any of the presentations during the 17th – 19th July, then here’s the link to register:

Long Covid 2025 Registration

Whilst it’s free to register and watch any and all of the presentations live during the event, if you want catch up access, transcript or audio versions, that’s all available for a discount price of $37 instead of the normal $67. If you sign up for any of that after using this link, then I’ll get a small commission. So thank you in advance if that’s what you choose to do!

And here’s the link to watch an extract of my presentation from the conference, where I discuss why viral persistence remains such a compelling theory for Long Covid:
