Juicy, crispy, smoky, UGLY DELICIOUS MEATLOAF is an easy meal with minimum hustle and boy oh boy, if you like beef and bacon you will absolutely LOVE this recipe. Everyone will be blown away by the smell coming straight from the oven.
The idea behind of good meatloaf is… you got a lot of meat, you will need a lot of seasoning!!! Make sure to choose good meat, we usually get Organic Grass Fed Beef, not too lean. 85/15 ratio will work pretty good. I chose adding barbeque sauce for that extra smoky smell and taste. The combination of bacon, barbeque sauce and well seasoned meat make this meatloaf wholesome.
Compliment meatloaf with fresh mashed potatoes or your favorite vegetables to complete the flavor extravaganza.
Ingredients:
1. 1lb Organic Grass Fed ground beef
2. 1cup Bread crumbs
3. 1 large egg, beaten
4. 1/3 cup Brown sugar
5. Spices:
– salt
– pepper
– paprika
– cayenne pepper
– garlic powder
– onion powder
– cumin
– dried basil
6. 2tbls Ketchup
7. 1tbls Smoky barbeque sauce
8. 1/2cup Milk
9. 1tbsp Olive oil
10. Bacon
Ingredients for Barbeque Sauce:
1. 2tbls Ketchup
2. 2tbls Smoky Barbeque sauce
3. 3tsp brown sugar
4. 1tsp vinegar
Follow the instructions in this recipe to make an UGLY DELICIOUS MEATLOAF.
Note: when ready to put on broil, be very careful since you can easily just burn your meatloaf very quick. Check on it every few minutes, take it out as soon as bacon crispy enough for you, the way you love it.
